500 Degrees Celsius Is a Test Condition, Not an Unlimited Working Limit
EN 407:2020 Contact Heat Level 4 uses a 500 degrees Celsius test cylinder and requires a threshold time of at least 15 seconds. A verified result does not mean the glove can handle every 500 degrees Celsius object indefinitely. Publish the level, test temperature, threshold time, tested glove areas and full EN 407 marking exactly as shown in the matching LG-12 report.
Actual suitability depends on surface temperature, contact time, pressure, contact area, heat capacity, glove condition and every material layer. For chemical exposure, identify the exact substance, concentration, temperature and contact duration before selecting a glove. Do not combine heat and chemical claims unless both are supported for the same LG-12 construction.
