OEM FR Coverall Manufacturing

Specify the FR Coverall Around the Hazard

ANBU can develop custom FR coveralls for distributors, contractors and industrial workwear programs. Options may include treated FR cotton, inherent FR or aramid-blend fabrics, anti-static components, reflective tape, insulated constructions, different pocket layouts, two-way closures, radio loops, knee-pad pockets, logos, private labels and custom packaging.

Heat-and-flame protection, short-duration thermal exposure from fire, electric-arc protection, electrostatic dissipation and high visibility are separate requirements. Confirm the complete garment, standard edition, performance levels, label and supporting documents for the exact model and configuration.

Use the existing product grid to help buyers compare real configurations. Each card should state the verified fiber composition, fabric weight, garment features, size range, intended use and exact evidence available for that model.

Documentation and Project Support

ANBU can review the buyer’s product list, requested standards, packing marks, test reports and certificate requirements for inclusion in the quotation. Customs clearance and tender success depend on external authorities and the buyer’s final requirements and cannot be guaranteed.

What We Help Buyer Control

One Written Product Specification

Keep the fabric, garment construction, size chart, components, branding, packing and evidence requirements in one approved specification.

Sample-to-Bulk Reference Control

Record the approved fabric, color, dimensions, seam, closure details, and labels. Use the sample and written tolerances as references for bulk inspection.

Size, Fit and Mobility Planning

Check reaching, bending, kneeling and movement in the sample. Prepare quantities by size and consider women's, tall or extended sizing where required.

Model-Specific Compliance Evidence

Request the declaration, certificate or listing, test report, technical data, marking, label and instructions that apply to the exact model and variant.

Questions fréquemment posées

An FR coverall is a one-piece garment made with a flame-resistant fabric system and construction selected for a stated workplace risk. “FR” alone does not define the applicable standard, protection level or certification. Those details must be confirmed for the exact model.

The terms are often used inconsistently in the market. “Flame-resistant” commonly describes a material or garment designed to resist ignition and limit flame spread, while “flame-retardant” may describe a treatment or property. For purchasing, rely on the fabric identity, garment design, standard, performance levels and product documents rather than the wording alone.

Fabric options can be reviewed against the target hazard, standard, comfort, durability, weight, color and budget. Nomex should be specified only when genuine branded fiber and supporting documents are required and available. Otherwise use the verified generic fiber composition.

Anti-static components and reflective tape can be specified, subject to the approved design and material system. These features do not automatically prove EN 1149-5, high-visibility or other compliance; request evidence for the complete garment when a standard is required.

Sample approval is recommended for custom garments. Check fit, movement, fabric, color, pockets, closures, reflective tape, logo, labels and workmanship, then record the approved sample and written tolerances for bulk inspection.

Depending on the market and claim, request the exact product declaration, certificate or listing, test report, technical data, marking, label and user instructions. Confirm the model number, fabric, garment configuration, standard edition, performance levels, issuer and validity or listing status.

A garment may be designed for more than one requirement, but compliance with one does not prove compliance with the others. Each claim needs suitable product design and current evidence for the exact model. Start with the hazard assessment and destination-market requirement rather than requesting every standard by default.

Follow the exact garment label and manufacturer instructions. Cleaning method, contamination, damage, repairs, wear and the fabric system can affect continued performance. Inspect garments regularly and remove them from service when the product instructions or workplace program require replacement.
